Today I volunteered to participate as a photographer for the MS Walk. Luckily, they allowed me to take photos since I was willing to walk the first 3.5 miles with an additional 3.5 miles back to my car. There were 219 walkers. More than 60% were the age of 18 years and younger. 61 of the walkers has MS. Everyone else is walking for family or friends. Many groups were from 13 different states. There is no cure and the medication/treatment is expensive.
The human contribution is the essential ingredient. It is only in the giving of oneself to others that we truly live. -Ethel Percy Andrus
